Dastakhat follows the story of Tara, an orphan engaged to her cousin Salman, who secretly loves another woman, Ayman. On the day of the wedding, Salman abandons Tara, forcing the family to marry her to his younger brother Hamza, who has always regarded her as an elder sister.

The family eventually accepts Salman’s love for Ayman and arranges their marriage. Under the same roof, Tara and Ayman struggle to coexist, their clashing values creating constant tension in the household. Tara, due to Hamza’s youth, treats him with maternal care, yet their relationship remains distant and formal.

The fragile family balance is disrupted when Hamza falls in love with another woman, introducing new complications into their already strained relationships. Salman, burdened by guilt over abandoning Tara, must face the consequences of his actions. Meanwhile, Tara is forced to confront her changing circumstances and decide how to navigate a life she never chose.

Dastakhat is a gripping drama about love, betrayal, and the search for belonging. It explores how one decision can alter many lives and asks whether fractured relationships can ever truly be repaired.
