Daniya and Rohaan are tangled into a whirlwind romance by the hands of fate, despite their different life goals. Rohaan, an ambitious expatriate, returns to Pakistan under parental pressure to marry a traditional girl he has never met. Daniya, spirited and independent, also feels trapped by family pressures of getting married.

Their fathers, childhood friends, decide to cement their bond through their children’s marriage. Ehsaan, Daniya’s father, is gravely ill with a brain illness and wishes to see his daughter married before he possibly passes away. He considers Rohaan the perfect match and sets an engagement date without willingness of Daniya or Rohaan.

Both Daniya and Rohaan are initially resistant to the idea of marriage and secretly plan to sabotage the proposal by trying to make the other call it off. However, as they interact more, they begin to see beyond their initial prejudices and discover common ground.
