This exciting release comes just four months after his sixth studio album, “Subtract.” In a heartfelt Instagram post, Sheeran disclosed that the album’s inspiration stemmed from English composer Elgar’s idea of dedicating 14 songs to 14 of his friends. Similarly, Sheeran crafted this collection of 14 tracks as a reflection of the diverse emotions he and his friends experienced over the past year.
